Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I spent months working 12 hour days sanding floors and tear down wallpaper one child strapped on my back, and others crawling inside the playpen. Ha! The house was getting closer to completing, however the project was still a way off. The project would require money, effort, and of course my favourite shopping experience to complete the interior of this house. To stay on budget I began going to estate sales with three brothers to search for jewels in the rough. The schedule we had for the week that consisted of spending the week of Thursday to Saturday scouring estate sales and garage sales buying old and new things. The rest of the week sanding and painting the driveway. My passion for restoration of furniture began with a look similar to this. The issue was not whether the house was already decorated. I also had a booth at the market where I sold items. Eventually I had more pieces that I knew about and had outgrown the space. More than 1000 people came to my home in just one weekend to buy everything that was on the ground. Growing Days was created in the home. The business wasn't just thriving but I was growing our family of four. As a mom of a child I was able to find the perfect equilibrium to start my own company and being a decent mother. Growing Days seemed like the perfect fit. In 2013, my sweet daughter Nora came along our 4th child. This was a fantastic direction for my business however I was also in need of some time off. I decided to take a break from creating vintage furniture and slowed down my pace to be at home to take care of the kids. In the beginning, this was the ideal thing to do. However, after just a couple of minutes, my phone began getting busy. A lot of people contacted me for help about home improvement or decorating. Many of the people calling me were from those who visited my home at one of my furniture open house events. In the following time, I took on clients according to my schedule. Before long I had numerous accounts as well as a home renovations business. If you'd have predicted that this venture that I started would become an idea for a TV show for the DIY Network I probably would have been astonished. As I look back on this situation and think about it, I laugh.
