Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on 30 January 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska. He moved from Casper, Wyoming with his family in the year 13 when he turned thirteen. His father, who worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, directed the soil conservation district of Casper.
